Sri. Bhattapiran Paravastu Vilakkudi Sundararajan Varadarajan

Sri. Bhattarpiran Paravastu Vilakkudi Sundararajan Varadarajan Swamigal is rooted in Swami Desika Sampradhaya. He has learnt deshikastotrams and other stotrams as a child from grandparents and parents, and also learned Sanskrit from Ahobila Math Oriental School, W.Mambalam.

His kainkaryams are very noble, silent and on many, many fronts which are outside of his laukika duties as an IT professional. Here are a few of his illustrious kainkaryams

  1. He is part of a team that does the Sanskrit transliteration of Srirangam Srimadh Andavan Ashramam’s English Edition of Sri Ranganatha Paduka over the last 3+ years. Sri Ranganatha Paduka is a monthly publication.
  2. He is a reviewer for Sanskrit text/articles in ‘Srivari Svagatam’, a quarterly publication by Srivari Creative Arts Committee, Srivari Sri Balaji Temple, NJ, USA. He has been active with this kainkaryam for the past 3+ years.
  3. He has proofread Sanskrit Stothrams published at prapatti.com and others for over 3 decades.
  4. He conducts Stotra Patams in Santhai format for a few groups – Stotrams (Swami Deshikastotrams, other stotrams/stavams) and paadukaasahasram for San Francisco Bay Area Satsangam over the last 6 years
  5. He teaches Swami Deshika Stotrams, Yaadavaabhyudayam for a few groups in Veda Dharma Samrakshana Sabha (VDSS) over the last 3 years. Here, he has also assisted occasionally with Sanskrit text creation/review for a few articles published on some works of Swami Deshikan and other acharyas.
  6. He is a sevAshree volunteer for creating/reviewing some Sanskrit text/video/audio in stotrams and artifacts published by Global Stotra Parayana Kaimkaryam and Sampradayamanjari (GSPK).
  7. Sri. Sundararajan Swami connected with us @ aradhanam.org in Jan 2023. Since then he has contributed a lot to aradhanam.org.

    1. He went through the entire 1st Edition of Swami Desika Stotra Mala and helped with fixing all the errors he found in our 1st Edition release. It was his effort that helped us shape the 2nd Edition as a printed book and as online PDFs
    2. He expressed his interest in reviewing Srimadh Ramayanam epic as well. He has completed the review of the Bala kandam and he is now into reviewing Ayodhya Kandam. All of his recommendations will be incorporated when we publish the 3rd Edition of Srimadh Ramayanam.
    3. He has produced Srimadh Gopalarya MahaDesikan’s “Swami Desika Divya Sahasra NamavaliH” as a book, as online PDFs at aradhanam.org and, in addition, has rendered audio for the Sahara NamavaliH YouTube video. He did this especially for Srimadh SriRanga Ramanuja MahaDesikan’s 90th ThiruNakshathra Mahotsavam. His diction of Sanskrit words is perfect.
