Dear Bhagavathas,

We have sought and received Anugraham from our revered Acharyan, HIS HOLINESS SRIMAD SRI VARAHA MAHA DESIKAN, PITADHIPATHI OF SRIRANGAM SRIMAD ANDAVAN ASHRAMAM, to release the first-of-its-kind booklet on Pancha SUktham in 28 language scripts.

The Vedic notations (anudhAththa, udhAththa, etc.) have been standardized across all language scripts for consistency.  Also specifically, color-coding has been introduced for the Devanagari script with the hope that it will enhance readability while following the script and Vedic notations. Here are samples texts below for Devanagari, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Hope you like the new content format and style. Feedback is most welcome.

The book cover page has been standardized and we will be following this formal format for all book releases going forward.

2. Summary of TT28 software related fixed and enhancements

Srimad Andavan had given His Blessing on another major project in August 2020 after the release of the 1st Edition of Maharshi Valmiki’s Srimad Ramayanam. The most difficult part of hand-typing the input text for this project has been completed over the last several months and we are currently reviewing and fixing any errors before the final production release. We are eager to complete this effort as quickly as we can and  pray to complete this work this ensuing summer. On this special occasion, we will also introduce 2 volunteer families, one from Chennai and one from Bangalore, who have made and are making significant contributions to this website. We first connected with each other through the pratikriya.section at this website. We will also recognize others who have given valuable feedback. Please stayed tuned on this exciting announcement.

We have a special acknowledgement to make. We respectfully thank U. Ve. Sri K. Jagannathan Swami, kainkaryaparar for Srimad Andavan. He showed the pdf booklets to our Acharyan early this week and received His Anugraham.

Interested in volunteering? We have many new exciting website projects stacked up to be accomplished. We can run these projects concurrently with contributions from volunteers. If anyone is interested in volunteering, then please connect with us through the feedback link pratikriya. We will formulate standard volunteering guidelines so we can adhere to reasonable commitments and schedules while being cognizant and respectful of normal ‘laukika’ duties. All volunteering efforts will be fully recognized at this website.

We strive our hardest to hand encode and generate the documents correctly. But we may have mistyped something from the input source document or because the keyboard may not have cooperated. Besides, there could be some transliteration bug in the tool that we may not have caught before. But these errors, once found, are very easy to fix both in text and in code. Kindly pardon us for these mistakes. Our eyes wouldn’t believe where they are. But, as avid and critical readers, yours can spot them very easily. Hence, please do offer your corrections wherever and whenever you find them. We will fix all reported errors in batches and re-publish the documents as soon as possible.
